Chocolate Banana Protein Smoothie

Since I started back to working out after my injury. I am working in healthful foods including this protein smoothie. Of course, I had to include my favorite ingredient… chocolate.


  • 2 Bananas
  • 2 Scoops protein powder (I used Trader Darwin’s (Joe’s) Soy Vanilla Protein Powder)
  • 1 Tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 1 Cup almond milk
  • 3 or 4 Ice cubes
  • 1 Teaspoon agave nectar (or to taste)

Instructions: Toss all into a blender and process until smooth.

Makes: 2 smoothies.
